Hunger

A One-Act Play with a Cast of 2

Full Synopsis

Angelo, the child of a Hispanic migrant farm worker, has a sudden pain, a euphemism for the hollow feeling of not being loved by anyone. As a small infant Angelo had often been left out in the fields while his parents worked. His mother abandoned him long ago and he has raised himself in a world where his basic emotional needs were not met. Dolly appears. Is she his mother or just a comforting illusion?
