Full Synopsis

The landlady of a boarding house is relentless in harassing a tenant about the presence of roaches in his room. She is constantly leaving notes and reminding him of the problem. Arriving home from work one day the tenant discovers a human-size roach sitting in one of his chairs. Frightened at first, he quickly learns that the roach is aware of his plight and has a plan to help solve his problem with the landlady.

Cast of Characters

DAVE Office worker and struggling actor, 30-40; has network of odd friends; adjusting to his recent move to a room in a boarding house.
JOHN Dave's homeless friend and sometimes roommate, 60-70; likes beer and cigars; has working relationship with Dave.
ALBERT Dave's next-door neighbor, 40-50; part-time waiter; hustler; likes flashy clothes; pretends back pain hoping to collect disability checks.
ROACH A human-size roach; comes to Dave's aid when he has trouble with the landlady.
CRAZY DOT Landlady, 60-70; nasty; demanding; complains to Dave about roaches in the apartment.
