Exercise

We are dedicated to the well-being of our residents. We offer a wide variety of exercise classes adapted to individual abilities.

We have a well equiped fitness center for our residents. The fitness center is staffed by certified and experienced fitness professionals available to assist exercisers, answer questions and hold classes.

With free one-on-one personal training, exercising safely is easy. We consult with both the resident and medical staff, to develop a safe, fun and effective exercise program, suited to your goals and interests.

Educational Programs

Wellness seminars are presented monthly at no charge to encourage healthy practices outside the fitness center.

Preventive health services are offered through Senior Quarters' Wellness Program. This includes various types of exercise classes for overall fitness, preventive screenings, lectures on current health topics and more.

Physical Therapy

Physical, Occupational, Speech and Functional Maintenance programs are available 5 times a week.

Many times, therapy is designed to achieve rehabilitation from a fall, fracture, stroke or other debilitating illness or accident. With therapy, residents are often able to return to their homes or less intensive levels of care.

Support Groups

Many times the key to good health does not require medicine. We encourage our residents to support and help each other whenever possible.

Sometimes a peer will be the perfect person to understand what another resident is going through. Support groups are a great way for family to stay involved and let a loved one know you are always there for them.

To enhance personal capabilities in dealing with specific physical or psychological challenges, various support groups have been created or are currently being organized (low vision, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's).

The groups are open to all residents, family members, companions, and others from the community. Sessions are held monthly.
